Swiss Geoscience Meeting 2026

We'd love to invite you to the Swiss Geoscience Meeting 2026, taking place on 20–21 November in Fribourg.
As in previous years, Blaise Duvernay, Savvas Saloustros, and Paolo Bergamo are organising the session "Seismic Hazard: From Science to Mitigation," which will run on the second day, 21 November. It's an interdisciplinary session designed to encourage discussion between practitioners and researchers across earthquake-related topics: seismic hazard, engineering seismology, geotechnical and structural earthquake engineering, vulnerability, and risk analysis.
If you'd like to present your work to the Swiss research and engineering community, we encourage you to submit an abstract by 28 August 2026
